If you are visiting during the summer months, spend a moment or two within the rear garden where a spot of alfresco dining can be enjoyed, whilst your pets make the most of the lawn area. If you don't feel like cooking one evening, there are several excellent pubs and eating options nearby. The nearby village of Pendeen has a shop as well for picking up the essentials. Brush up on the local history by discovering the impressive Levant Engine House which features in the TV series, Poldark or soak up the dramatic views from Pendeen lighthouse.Alternatively, a short car journey will bring you to Penzance which boasts superb shopping opportunities or St Just with a good selection of cafes, shops and galleries.
