The Courtyard Lodge

The Courtyard Lodge opens directly onto a small deck facing Cawsand Bay. Climb the stairs and you enter a double-height open-plan living space with panoramic views across the water towards Devon, the kitchen positioned to make the most of them. Downstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite shower, plus a separate toilet on the upper floor. The whole place belongs to you alone.

The kitchen has a cooker and fridge, with a fridge-freezer in the basement for overflow storage. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is fast broadband if you want to stream something, though the main draw here is the setting: you can step straight onto the South West Coast Path to walk the cliffs, or down to the beach. The Devonport Inn, known for fish and continental cooking, is within a short walk.

The Lodge sleeps two and allows one dog. No smoking. It suits couples or solo travellers wanting sea air and minimal fuss, with breakfast views across the bay and the sound of water close by.
