Excellent place to stay in lovely surroundings provided by very friendly people. The Old Barn is excellently appointed and comfortable. The eggs from Bryher and Mark's farm are excellent too. Carnon Downs is a short walk along a very quite road with an excellent Spar supermarket and a garden centre. In the oyther direction you get panoramic views of the sea and adjacent headlands. A little further on country paths is Trelissick House National Trust property, with a chain ferry across the river. Very strongly recommended as a place to stay with friendly hosts.

Lovely, quiet, 2 bedroom holiday cottage, situated next to owners farmhouse, situated at the end of a rough country road. Owners very friendly, and have great local knowledge of the area. Cottage is next to bridleway and footpath, so a walk down to Penpol Creek for a riverside walk to Devoran and the Old Quay Inn is recommended (good food). Trelissick Gardens is close by, and Truro and Falmouth are less then twenty minutes drive away, although you wouldn’t know it.
