The Pickle Pot
Cornwall
The Pickle Pot is a single-storey apartment in Mawgan Porth, a village on the north Cornwall coast between Newquay and Padstow. Everything happens on one level: a combined living and dining space opens onto a kitchen fitted with a cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom holds a double bed, and there is a shower room with cubicle and toilet. A lawned garden with patio and shared gas barbecue sits outside, and you can park two cars on site. One medium-sized dog is welcome here.
Mawgan Porth beach—a wide sandy bay—is just 300 yards away, and the village has its own shops, restaurant, pub and surf shop. Newquay's attractions including a zoo and sports centres lie 3 miles off; Padstow, with its restaurants and coastal path walks, is equally close. Watergate Bay, also nearby, has a beach café and water sports academy. The property works well for exploring the Eden Project, Heligan's lost gardens and Bodmin Moor, or for a quieter base with beach access on your doorstep. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. No smoking indoors.
