Tokenbury Manor Cottages - The Farmhouse

We visited Treworgey Manor, Deer Park for an Easter long weekend as three couples and had a wonderful time. The setting is truly spectacular with easy access to walks along the creek, making it perfect for exploring the stunning Cornish countryside. The grounds and facilities exceeded expectations. The game room was a great touch, with tennis rackets, balls, and a proper court keeping us entertained. Parking was ample and easy, which is always a bonus in Cornwall. The kitchen was really well-equipped with plenty of vessels, plates, and everything you need to cook up a feast. We made the most of the outdoor BBQ too, which was brilliant. A special mention for the hosts. We knew the swimming pool wasn’t available at the time of booking, so there were no surprises there. Debbie proactively reached out earlier in the week to manage expectations and make sure we had all the details for a smooth check-in, a really thoughtful touch. James welcomed us on arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the property, which set the tone for a relaxed stay. Would absolutely return and highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable group getaway in Cornwall. 🌿​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Lovely place to stay with great grounds you can walk around. Dog friendly and owners are really nice and always on hand to help you if you need anything with just a simple text message. Only one thing would be to get better mattresses to make the stay perfect!

The Good Beautiful scenery, gorgeous setting, great pool. The Bad While the setting is private, the owners live on site - they were watching us coming and going. Checking noise levels of other guests on the site. Made the stay less comfortable and private than we had hoped. I didn’t feel like I could leave the cottage without being checked on. Weirdly they only supplied 6 plates and cutlery so we had to wash up constantly. The Ugly Bathroom and shower functional but looked tired.

Been here twice. Beautiful holiday cottages set in private grounds in the middle of nowhere. Perfect retreat but still close enough to drive fit day trips. Great little swimming pool and tennis courts. Lots of nice little walks nearby. Highly recommended for families / couples.
