Tokenbury Manor Cottages - The Piggery
Cornwall
Photo: Google Maps
Pensilva sits in one of Cornwall's former mining areas, where engine houses still punctuate the landscape and woodland footpaths follow old riverbanks. The Piggery occupies a converted stone building on a private estate within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a single storey space—one double bedroom, shower room, and an open-plan living area—arranged around original exposed walls and beams that speak to its industrial past.
The living space combines kitchen, dining and lounge in one room, with an electric oven and hob for cooking, freeview television, and comfortable seating. A patio with bench seating lies outside. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; there's parking for one car on site. The cottage suits two people and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. It does not accommodate children under five, and smoking is not permitted.
A pub sits within a mile. From the doorstep, you can reach the wooded terrain that characterises this part of the county—the kind of landscape where buzzards circle overhead and footpaths wind through largely unspoiled ground.
