Towan Valley Resort near Porthtowan sits within reach of the Cornish coast, where Porthtowan Beach lies less than half a mile away. The village has a shop, post office, café, chip shop and pub. St Agnes, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a short drive further along the coast, with beaches at Trevaunance Cove and Chapel Porth, and the landscape shaped by old mining activity.

Trebellan is a three-bedroom lodge sleeping six across two storeys. Downstairs holds a living and dining room with French doors onto a decked area, plus a kitchen equipped for self-catering (electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine) and a separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a zip-and-link super king bed with ensuite shower, one with a double bed, and one with two singles. A second bathroom has a bath with shower over. The property includes bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity; heating is electric. A private hot tub seats six in the back garden, which also has furniture. One car can park on the property. The garden has steep steps. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking inside.

Brilliant campsite my 6 year old and 3 year old loved it. Not been since a young child myself and after 25+ years still what I vaguely remember it been like. Pool great, toilets and showers clean. Location perfect as well, We will be back!

Stayed in my Camper van this year but, I’ve camped here for years. Always clean & tidy & pretty quiet. Good amenities which are always kept clean, hot showers at no extra charge, there is a pool although I’ve never used it or taken advantage of the fishing ponds. Somewhere I always take advantage of is the Smugglers Den, a 16th century inn literally across a very quiet one lane road. We’ll be staying again next year 🫶🏼
