You step into a spacious living room where a woodburner faces a smart TV, and original stone features anchor this Grade II listed building. The ground floor holds the main kitchen – equipped with an Aga for cooking – plus one double bedroom with ensuite, leaving the first floor for three further bedrooms (two doubles and bunks). Altogether there are three bathrooms and one separate toilet. A stable conversion houses a games room with pool table and table tennis; outside, an enclosed walled garden has patio seating and furniture.

Tremaer accommodates nine guests comfortably, with wi-fi, bed linen, heating and initial logs for the fire all covered. There is on-site parking for four cars. One dog is welcome. The cottage sits within Bude Holiday Resort, a short walk from Crooklets Beach and the coastal path that runs north along the cliffs; the town itself (about a mile away) has three beaches, a seawater pool, leisure centre, golf course, and the usual assortment of shops and eating places. No smoking indoors.
