St Kew is a quiet village in north Cornwall with a 15th-century church and a pub 150 yards away. Trescobel Cottages occupies grounds beside a Georgian vicarage; the cottages themselves were refurbished in 2024. This is one of two semi-detached properties, and you get the whole place to yourself. It sleeps four across a double bedroom and a second room with two single beds, with a bathroom on the first floor.
Downstairs is a single open-plan space combining living, dining and kitchen. The kitchen has an electric hob, microwave, oven and grill. You'll find a television, DVD player, and a shared games room with table tennis in the grounds. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. Underfloor heating runs through the bathroom; the rest of the cottage has electric central heating. Outside is a lawned garden with seating and furniture, and parking for two cars. One dog stays free.
Polzeath beach lies 3 miles away; Rock, a sailing resort, is nearby. The South West Coastal Path and Camel Trail run through the area for walking and cycling. Port Isaac, Padstow and Boscastle are close for food and shops. Wadebridge, a short drive, has a sports centre and swimming pool. The Eden Project and Bodmin Moor are both within reach. No smoking indoors.
