Tripp Cottage is a single-storey semi-detached property in the Cornish village of St Neot, arranged entirely on one level. You arrive at the entrance via a short run of steps, then move between a living and dining room, an equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with ensuite shower, and a lawned garden with a sitting area. The London Inn is within walking distance, and a shop sits 350 yards away. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge, so you can cook properly. The property suits two people only, and does not accommodate children under 16. Smoking is not permitted.
There is private parking for one car on site, and bike storage if you want to explore further afield. Oil central heating keeps the cottage warm. The 2-acre grounds are shared with the owners, who can provide a charcoal barbecue on request. From here, Bodmin Moor lies to the south and both the north and south coasts are within reach for beaches and fishing villages. The Eden Project and nearby National Trust gardens offer day-trip options from your base.
