This stone cottage sits in Lerryn, a small village on the edge of the River Fowey's tidal creek system. The building has character in keeping with its surroundings—six steps lead to the entrance, and inside there's a living room with an open fire and Freeview TV. The kitchen is fitted with electric cooking, a microwave and fridge. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. Electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are included; heating comes from a Baxi boiler in the living room and underfloor heating in the bathroom. You get the whole place to yourself, with room for four people and space for one pet.
The cottage's setting makes it useful for anyone interested in the water. There are dinghy launching facilities on site, and the creek itself is navigable for kayaks or paddleboards. The Ship Inn & Willows Restaurant is within a mile. On foot, the village has a shop and post office, and woodland trails fan out from Lerryn into the wider landscape. On-road parking is available. The cottage does not allow smoking.
