About Tremanor Farm
Perched on a south-facing slope with sweeping views across St Austell Bay to Fowey, Tremanor Farm brings a wonderfully relaxed wild-camping feel to a working Cornwall farm. The open field site – no electric hook-ups, so bring torches – provides proper facilities including shower blocks, washing-up areas and drinking-water standpipes throughout, plus ample parking. Those panoramas are seriously gorgeous, though the site can feel a touch basic if you're after more polish.
Fowey itself lies five minutes by car (or catch the bus from across the road), offering shops, pubs, seafood restaurants and all the seaside charm you'd expect. The friendly Cornish owners know the area inside out and happily share tips on local walks, canoeing spots, cycling routes and beaches. With a laid-back vibe, genuinely stunning scenery and proximity to one of Cornwall's loveliest harbour towns, Tremanor works beautifully for campers who don't mind leaving creature comforts behind.

What an absolute gem of a find! Just £10 each per night but with a toilet block, lovely hot showers, running drinking water, and bins (including all different types of recycling). Great views and easy access to a number of places. We only came for parkruns and will definitely be back to do others in the area! Thank you so much to Tessa for her warm welcome and advice. She was also very busy making sure the site was always kept clean! Only thing to note is there was no one here when we arrived - if this happens to you then not to worry just pitch up your tent (or whatever) like we did and it’s cool.

We just happened upon this campsite by chance as we needed a place to park up for the night on our way down the coast. As it was midweek we ended up with the place to ourselves and we just managed to catch the gorgeous sunset last night. The site has panoramic views! There are flushing toilets and HOT showers just outside the field. I'm not really sure what the last review was about. It's rustic, but this is camping not glamping... Water points and bins are conveniently placed in the field. The owner came and chatted to us the morning and collected money. Lovely lady and has provided some local info and maps for guests. Overall we were really happy with the place especially as it was small, pretty locatipn and not over run with other people!

Well, I just don’t understand how others have rated this a five star campground. I’m not sure what the use is of review reviews if they are not accurate. - the facilities (showers and bathroom) are real minimum. Portable toilets that have been around a bit too long, rudimentary, shower stalls. - signage and pathways are in a horrible state, mud or dirt everywhere, we just don’t feel like there has been any real care for customers. On the positive side, there were very few campers so we had the place to ourselves. And the owner is friendly. So my overall rating is two stars. I would only come back if I had no other options.

Very nice family run farm, couple flat spots but mostly a slight incline. Nothing a couple average leveling blocks can't sort! 2 water points available with fresh drinking water. Toilets and showers are well looked after and the showers have really good pressure!
