Woodgate

Woodgate is a large detached farmhouse on the Cornish coast, set within its own enclosed garden. The property retains much of its 1920s character while offering comfortable, spacious accommodation for up to seven guests. A path from the house leads down into a wooded valley that forms part of the grounds, making this a particularly good base for those interested in wildlife—roe deer and badgers are sometimes spotted in the area.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs there are two separate living rooms (both with Freeview TV), a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The four bedrooms upstairs include two doubles with en-suites, a twin room and a single with a pull-out bed for flexibility. A family bathroom and separate toilet complete the first floor. Electricity, bed linen and wifi are included; logs for the open fire are available locally.

The garden itself comprises multiple areas—a sloping lower lawn, a gravelled terrace with a built-in barbecue, and further garden space at one end of the property. You have parking for three cars on site. The property is non-smoking and welcomes one well-behaved pet.
