Chestnut Cottage is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property sleeping four, set within 27 acres of countryside near Saltash in south-east Cornwall. It's a short drive from the A38, positioning you between rural quietness and easy access to the wider county. The cottage comes with its own enclosed garden, private parking, and a hot tub available year-round—useful if you're visiting outside summer months.
Inside, the ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom one has two zip-and-link single beds (can be joined as a super king), while the first-floor bedroom two is a kingsize with its own shower room. The second bathroom includes a bath and cubicle shower. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One well-behaved dog stays free.
The wider Woodside Stables grounds contain a play area and woodland walk. You're positioned for coastal paths, cycle routes and beaches within reach, though the property itself is inland. The Eden Project and Adrenaline Quarry are both accessible for a day out. No smoking inside.

We’ve just returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday at Woodside Stables. The location is wonderfully peaceful yet perfectly placed for easy access to everything we needed. The holiday home itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, light, and modern and a real pleasure to stay in. Claire was an exceptional host; nothing was ever too much trouble and she made us feel completely welcome. The hot tub was a real highlight and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. We’re already looking forward to returning. Woodside Stables truly lives up to everything advertised on the website, and we wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend it.

Superb location and great accommodation, finished to a really nice modern clean look and is fully equipped, feels very much a home from home, we have loved every moment staying here... The host Claire is really easy going, very friendly and helpful; the accommodation is animal friendly and there is an amazing woodland walk on site which is great for man's best friend. If we find ourselves back in the area we will be staying here again it's just perfect. Thanks for making our week away so relaxing.

Absolutely loved our stay in fir cottage. Everything we needed was there, hours drive to most of the places we wanted to visit. Great relaxing time in the cottage and hot tub. Dogs had a great time in the secure garden and a walk around the woods and field. Highly recommend a break at woodside
