South Cerney sits within the Cotswolds Water Park, a sprawling area of lakes, villages and countryside that stretches across 42 square miles. Lavender Lodge occupies this landscape well—you're close enough to reach pubs, restaurants and cafés within the locality, many of them positioned along walking and cycling routes including the Thames Path and National Cycle Route 45. The Water Park itself has been a draw since the 1960s, with leisure providers dotted throughout, and the fourteen villages and towns scattered across the region each have their own character.
The lodge itself is ground-floor living, arranged in open plan with a living area, dining space and kitchen equipped for proper cooking. One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in) with an ensuite shower; the other holds two single beds (2ft 6in each) and there's a second full shower room. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered, plus wi-fi for staying connected. A welcome pack is provided, and there's parking for one car on site. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. No smoking inside.
The ground-floor layout means easy access and minimal stairs, making it practical for families or anyone who prefers single-level living. The proximity to both the Water Park's leisure activities and the quieter routes through the Cotswolds gives you flexibility—venture out or stay put as the mood takes you.
