Hotel is on the edge of town by the ring road, access to city is via some dubious feelings subways. Some members of the group felt very uncomfortable. There is onsite parking but at a cost of £6 per night. There is no free parking anywhere near the hotel. Hotel is as expected for an ibis, though one colleague did find evidence of bedbugs in his room. TV's were only Freeview and didn't getany channels so this was disappointing. Breakfast layout was good, cereal and continental you can't really get wrong. The cooked breakfast is buffet style so ingredients can be left out for some time causing it to dry out or congeal. I would much prefer to order individually and wait a little longer. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

2 nights stay to visit an event at the arena. The Ibis is well located about 10 minutes walk from the station and about 15 from shopping centre. Comfortable clean room, though I was allocated an accessible room where unfortunately the drain didn’t adequately cope with the shower water flow - so a bit of a mopping up operation was needed! The breakfast offered is great value. There was a downstairs bar area. All in all a very satisfactory stay.

About what you would expect from a budget downtown hotel. Not bad but nothing to write home bout either. The staff at the front desk is friendly, however i have a serious concern regarding the room service/clenliness. The bathroom is sketchy, worst of all though, upon my arrival there was a leftover piece of a crisp bag left next to the table in my room. Out of couriosity I left it there. Staying monday till friday, surprise surprise, the piece was there still while I was checking out. This brings on many questions on how thorough is the daily room sweep/cleaning. Besed on this I wont choose this hotel again.

The ground floor and the room I stayed in had an unpleasant smell — damp and dusty — and the TV wasn’t working due to a signal issue. I reported it, but unfortunately it couldn’t be resolved, so I was gutted not to be able to watch the England match in the room. The air conditioning is also not working in the heat of over 30 degree. That said, the girls on reception were very helpful and professional throughout. Azad
