Eisteddfa Caravan and Camping Park
Pentrefelin, Criccieth LL52 0PT, UK
Family-run touring park with sweeping Cardigan Bay views, a mile from Criccieth
About Eisteddfa Caravan and Camping Park
Eisteddfa sits on an elevated eleven-acre site above Pentrefelin, barely a mile inland from Criccieth, with sweeping views straight out over Cardigan Bay towards the Llŷn Peninsula and back to Snowdonia's peaks. This family-run, AA four-pennant park has built a loyal following among touring caravanners and tent campers who return year after year for the tranquil, well-kept pitches and that exceptional outlook. A mix of grass and hardstanding pitches caters to tents, trailer tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-ups available, and a small collection of timber camping cocoons sleeping up to four offers a simple glamping alternative for those without their own kit—several with direct sea views.
Criccieth's castle, beaches and shops are a short drive or manageable walk away, and the park makes a comfortable base for exploring the wider Llŷn and Snowdonia. The rural setting keeps evenings calm, and with a play area for children, Wi-Fi and a friendly welcome from the long-standing owners, it's a dependable choice for families and couples alike.

What visitors say
Excellent camping site with views to the sea. Showers, toilets and utility rooms of good quality. Showers, washers and driers are merered, work with 20p coins. Beach was a short drive away, but what a beach, awesome. There are caravan pitches, electric and non electric tent pitches, there are even EV charging points on site, with a handy off peak rate over night. We did not find this info before booking, so we drove there in diesel. Next time ill take the electric car. Very good for families with children. Beautifull place.

Family friendly fishing site with a kid's/Family pond and everything you need to get your first ever fish or two trout lakes one large mixed lake and one carp specialist lake - shop and an excellent cafe (you can hire all the fishing gear for a few pounds if you don't have any) been going there for a few years now and can really recommend it for a good day out

We camped, electric pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. Showers are 20p 3 mins but does mean they are clean and plenty of changing space. View of sea and mountains from our pitch!

Excellent campsite. We stayed as a large family group (5 pitches) over the bank holiday weekend - which in itself is brilliant as so many campsites immediately dismiss you for having a group. The site is so well run - really brilliant owners. ‘On the ball’ and great at keeping on top of everything without being fussy or grumpy. Amazing views from the campsite and great location for exploring. Facilities super clean and quite luxurious for a campsite! 5* campsite - would 100% return!
