What visitors say
Beautiful place to visit. Emmetts Garden, managed by the National Trust, is incredibly well maintained and full of charm. The views across the Kent countryside are stunning, and there’s a great variety of plants and flowers, especially in spring and summer. The garden is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing walk, with plenty of benches to sit and take in the scenery. The pathways are easy to follow, making it suitable for families and casual visitors. There’s a small café offering drinks and light snacks, and a shop with lovely gifts and local products. Parking is well organised, and facilities are clean and convenient. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help.

A wonderful garden to visit for a wander especially at the moment - April as the bulbs are all out. There’s a gorgeous tulip meadow with pinks & purples, plus wooded areas with stunning seas of bluebells and rhododendrons dotted around for a splash of pink. The house is private so you can’t visit inside but can see the outside from a distance. The old stables has been converted in to a coffee shop serving hot & cold food, tea & coffee. This was a nice pitstop for a sit down before seeing the rest of the grounds.

Really pretty and semi-formal gardens. Lots of things to do for little ones in the holidays. Cafe here is small, can get busy at peak times. Some additional outdoor seating

Been visiting Emmetts Garden for years and years. Used to bring the kids here to play when they were younger, then when they were older to do the geo caching (don't know if they still do that), we've watched plays here during torrential downpours and sometimes just sit and admire the view. There's always something to enjoy here. My mum used to love the bluebells here so every year on the anniversary of her passing I come here with dad to admire them. The bluebells are always amazing, photos don't really capture them properly they have to be seen and enjoyed in person. You don't have to do the full "down the hill and round" walk to enjoy them either, you can stay on the top paths and come back again. The car park might get busy, but you'll always find a quiet spot to relax once you're in.
