Speckled Frogs Play Centre

Fantastic find. Great option for Liverpool / Anfield stadium. Approx 7 miles away but got taxi's easy. Very well kept site, very secure and lovely helpful staff.

Such a great place to stay. 5 good sized CL pitches. The place is so well maintained. Large flat hard standing overlooking a large field. This is family run and they are really lovely and can't do enough to help. There is even a laundry facility. Very well located for any events for Liverpool or Manchester. Easy access from the motorway. Pretty rural but local amenities, pub, chippy, local store(including gas) within a couple of minutes drive. Excellent security (powered gate and CCTV). It is pretty close to the motorway but there is a reasonable distance away and plenty of trees to deaden the sound. It didn't bother me one bit. Still slept well. Can't recommend enough +++++

We booked a pitch for 5nights and on arrival after passing through electric security gate we were met by John and Stella. John pointed out the available pitches and Stella gave us a brief chat about the site amenities. She also gave us a very useful information sheet which pointed out local shops, walks, buses etc. The site does not have a shower block and the electric is meter. Each pitch has its own fresh water point and grey waste point. Pitches are for the most part hardstanding but there is a grass pitch with electric if required. The elsan point is immaculate as is the whole waste area. NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE! IT EVEN HAS A LITTLE SHOWER HEAD FITTED!. AMAZING!!! The is close to the M57 so you can hear low traffic if you want to but it didn't affect us. Once again a big thank you to john/Stella and Dad who does a marvellous job in keeping the site in tip top condition. This is a little gem site and not what you would expect from a caravan cl. We will be back and highly recommend a visit. Thank You. LADY WENDY/PETER.

Just spent 5 lovely days at this wonderful site. All the reviews are factually correct. It is neat, clean and the pitches are prefect. The location is fantastic, just off the motorway and within easy access to Liverpool and Manchester. Stella was a lovely host, she even provided us with a little information sheet that was very useful. I highly recommend this site and will definitely return in the near future.
