About Hallmark Hotel Croydon Aerodrome
Purley Way runs through Croydon as one of its main arteries, and it's here, on the historic ground of the old Croydon Aerodrome, that Hallmark Hotel Croydon Aerodrome sits. The area is thoroughly practical rather than picturesque, with good road and transport connections making it a straightforward base for visiting the wider London area or passing through on business.
The hotel has 110 rooms, with drinks available to order in-room, and public spaces include a restaurant and bar for meals and evening drinks. Breakfast is served on site, and free WiFi is available throughout. A garden offers a patch of green space to step out into, a small contrast to the busy road outside, while a lift, luggage storage and porter services take care of the practical side of a stay.
Beyond its rooms, the hotel also functions as a wedding venue, giving it a life beyond overnight guests. For anyone exploring Croydon itself, the hotel's position on Purley Way makes onward travel simple, whether that's into central Croydon or further afield across London.
People say this hotel offers clean, spacious rooms with great décor, amazing breakfast with a huge variety of options, and friendly, helpful staff who promptly address requests.
Other reviews mention the rooms can be warm and the air conditioning can be poor.
