A really beautiful place overall. The lavender fields, although not in bloom, were still lovely and made a gorgeous backdrop for photos of my children hunting for eggs. I’d happily come back when they are in bloom again. Negatives: The signage for the egg hunt wasn’t very clear, and I ended up asking members of staff in the soft play where we should go. They were very helpful and friendly. For the price, I expected a bit more from the experience. The children were only supposed to collect 6 eggs each, which took just a few minutes, and even stretching it out, the whole activity only lasted around 15 minutes before they’d had enough. For £14.50, this didn’t feel like great value, especially as they just received a small 90g Easter egg at the end. There were also quite a few broken plastic egg pieces scattered on the floor, which my 2 year old kept trying to pick up - not ideal, especially as we had booked the first slot of the day, so I would have expected these to have been cleared beforehand. They were given a little “can you find” sheet to tick off Easter items, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately the pen provided was dried out. I didn’t realise until I’d reached the furthest part of the lavender field, so didn’t bother going back to ask for another, though it might be worth testing the pens first. The funfair rides were quite limited (trampolines, teacups, and a small bumper car ride). I’d hoped to go on the teacups with my 2 year old, but adults weren’t allowed. She couldn’t go on alone as I knew she would try to climb out while it was moving, which was disappointing. Overall, I just expected a little more based on the advertising along the main road, which is what prompted me to book.

We attended the Easter Brunch at Beck Evans Farm and were extremely disappointed, especially given the cost — £30 per child and £15 per adult. On arrival, there was no clear information about where the event was being held. Staff appeared unsure, and we were eventually directed to the soft play area, which seemed to be the first time anyone had mentioned this location. We were then placed in one of the “event” rooms, which had minimal Easter decoration — a few stickers and some colouring on the tables. The food provided consisted of a small box of cheese and ham finger sandwiches and a few cakes, which felt wholly inadequate for the price paid. What made the experience significantly worse was the way we were spoken to when raising concerns. The owner, James, spoke to us in an incredibly rude and dismissive manner, which was completely unacceptable. No customer should be spoken to in such a disrespectful way. Overall, this event was poorly organised, overpriced, and handled without any regard for customer experience. This is not somewhere I will be returning to, and I would not recommend Beck Evans Farm to others based on this experience.

Fireworks night was very disappointing. Paid for tickets and for parking not 1 member of staff checked we had these and we were not the only ones. Rides were very overpriced. Food area was all in darkness and overcrowded. The only positive was the small stalls selling the cakes/toys.
