Garth Cottage is a converted barn at the end of a terrace, part of Tottergill Farm's 48-acre private estate in the Cumbrian countryside. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms and one bathroom, with the whole place to yourself. Downstairs is a spacious open-plan living and dining area with a woodburner, patio doors opening to the garden, and an equipped kitchen for cooking. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin room. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered.
The real draw is the enclosed garden with its four-person hot tub, decking and furniture. The setting overlooks the Lake District and Scottish hills, across an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where red squirrels, pheasants and woodpeckers are regular visitors. You can walk a mile down to Castle Carrock for a country pub, explore Gelt Woods nearby, or tackle Carrock Fell for wider views. Brampton, 4 miles away, is the main market town and gives access to Hadrian's Wall and the North Pennines. The property draws water from a private spring. Non-smokers only.
