Tall sash windows with stained glass catch the light on each level, and the rooms are generously proportioned across the floors. The property sleeps five: two king bedrooms, one single, and a family bathroom with bath and shower. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is included—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—along with a welcome pack on arrival.

The lower ground floor holds the kitchen and dining space, fully equipped for cooking, plus a utility room and direct access to enclosed patios for eating outside or sitting quietly. Above that, the ground floor living room has a smart TV and plenty of seating. The first floor has one king bedroom and the bathroom; the second floor has the other. The property is in Maryport, a working harbour town on the Cumbrian coast. Free parking is available at the nearby train station. Cockermouth, the Lake District and local beaches are all within reach. Smoking is not permitted inside.
