Mount Farm - The Stable
Cumberland

Hadrian's Wall is within driving distance, as are the Dumfries and Galloway beaches over the Scottish border. Carlisle itself—ten minutes away—holds the Museum of Military Life, Tullie House and the cathedral. Gretna Green is also reachable for a day out. Yet Mount Farm – The Stable sits far enough into the countryside that you wake to a working farm around you, with fields rather than neighbours.
The conversion comprises three bedrooms sleeping seven: two on the first floor with zip-and-link super king beds (each can split into two singles), plus a single; one on the ground floor with bunk beds. All three have ensuite showers. Downstairs, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opens through patio doors to an enclosed garden with furniture. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. A hot tub for six sits on the private grounds, and there is parking for two cars.
This suits families or groups of friends wanting a rural base without isolation. The whole property is yours alone. Smoking is not permitted.
