Shore Meadow

Shore Meadow is a single-storey semi-detached cottage positioned between the Lake District fells and the Irish Sea. Built at ground level with level access, it sits just 150 yards from a long sandy beach that stretches for miles in both directions. The cottage has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle, and a separate dining room, living room and kitchen arranged for comfortable everyday living.

The kitchen opens onto a patio where you can take breakfast or sit with a drink while watching the light change over the water towards the Isle of Man. A wood burner in the living room is fuelled initially, and the utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden suits children and dogs equally well, with parking for two cars on site. Linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included; one dog stays free.

Silecroft village is walkable from the property. The nearest Lake District fell, Black Combe, is two miles away; more demanding peaks including Scafell are within reach of drivers. The beach itself works for dog walking, fishing, or simply watching the weather roll in from the west. No smoking inside the cottage.
