Swallows Nest works well for couples wanting a break together, or for small families who need space without feeling cramped. The cottage has two kingsize bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping up to four, with a whole property to yourselves and parking for two cars. Dogs are welcome here.
The ground floor opens through a conservatory into a kitchen and dining room where you can cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher and all the usual kit—and a woodburner keeps things warm while you eat. A living room with smart TV and gas fire gives you somewhere to settle in the evenings, and there's a utility room with washing machine if you need it. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and a shower room. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner; there's a garden with patio and sitting-out area at the front, and private parking.
Dearham sits on the edge of the Lake District, within reach of the Cumbrian coast and Bedrock Gin nearby. The cottage is non-smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
