Tranquillity

Tranquillity is a detached lodge near Haverigg, on Cumberland's coast with sightlines across the Duddon estuary. Three bedrooms accommodate six guests—one double and two twin rooms—along with two bathrooms, a separate shower cubicle, and a ground-floor layout with an open-plan living space. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A small enclosed garden has a decked sitting area, garden furniture and a barbecue, with parking for three cars on site.

The location sits between the Cumbrian coast and the Lake District. Ravenglass and its narrow gauge railway is 30 minutes away, St Bees beach and lighthouse less than an hour's drive, and the major lakes—Windermere, Coniston and Wastwater—are all within an hour. The local pub is 175 yards from the door. A beach is a quarter mile away, and shops half a mile. The property is non-smoking. One dog is welcome.
