No longer allows campers. Walking the Dales highway and found this campsite advertised camping on their website only to be told they no longer allow camping. Maybe change your website so as not to be messing people about. Get a bit fed up with camping sites no longer allowing walkers on or overcharging for a small one person tent.

I have been going to Cross Hall farm caravan site since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I've been here in good weather and bad, hot summers and cold winters. I've walked the hills, fished the streams, swam in the river, worked the farm when there was anything a small boy could do without getting into trouble. I stayed in a caravan on the site when it's been full in summers and empty in winters. I can't even tell you how many times I've stayed there over the years. Whenever I go back to the UK I always try to get there again. I have one single fact for you... no matter where I go, which country I'm in, where I stay, where I ride my bike or where I hike, I'm always in search of somewhere as good as this. If you don't like it here, you've missed the point, Be well my friend. I hope you find what you are seeking. I found what my soul needed before I was old enough to know what it was.

Lovely quiet, clean campsite on a working farm. The views and access to walking and cycling are superb. Bob and Karen are very helpful. If you like fresh eggs, theirs are superb.

Stayed 5/7th July, great working farm and good location for walking, unfortunately the toilets are awful and I think the price to stay is too high. Would I go back? Yes if the toilets are rectified
