Misty Cottage

Misty Cottage is a compact rural retreat in Denbighshire, sleeping two in a single king-size bedroom. It sits roughly 4 miles from Ruthin, where independent shops, local food and an established arts scene give reason to venture out, though the surrounding countryside—forests, rolling hills, and walking routes through Clocaenog Forest and the Clwydian Hills—offers plenty of reason to stay put. Llangollen and its canal-side walks lie just over 15 miles further afield.

The cottage centres on an open-plan living and kitchen space with windows on two sides overlooking the garden. A table for two, breakfast bar, and seating area mean you can work and eat comfortably; the kitchen handles holiday cooking without fuss. Doors open directly onto a private enclosed lawn with patio and outdoor furniture, useful for morning coffee or evening meals. A ground-floor wet room serves the space, while the bedroom upstairs has sloping ceilings, roof windows and natural light. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are provided. The cottage is non-smoking.
