Woodlands Hall is a beautiful, quiet caravan park in a lovely setting, and we are so pleased we chose it. The site is well maintained, with excellent facilities that are kept to a very high standard. The grounds create a peaceful and relaxing environment and the surrounding area is beautiful. However, what really stands out is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are approachable, helpful and clearly take great pride in the park. Nothing seems too much trouble, and it's obvious that a lot of care and attention goes into keeping the site looking its best. Like most sites, it's advisable to book amenities at busy times but we've found no problem accessing them with no booking when we've been there. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, modern facilities and well-managed site makes Woodlands Hall a wonderful place. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality caravan park.

We stayed here Friday 29th May to Monday 1st June. 4 adults and one toddler. The park is situated down a narrow lane so it is really private. The hotel/pub is beautiful. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The caravan was large with 3 bedrooms, very spacious and modern. There is a kids park and a bouncy castle by the pub which our daughter loved. We went swimming on the Sunday which you book via the Lyons app. There is a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. This is all brand new and I believe only opened in December, it is very clean and modern. The pool was quite cold and our daughter was dithering so we couldn't stay too long. On the Sunday night we fancied a takeaway and found on our welcome info there was a couple of takeaways listed. We ordered a Chinese and met the driver at reception. There is no where you can walk to, you need to drive no matter where you go. We headed to Prestatyn beach before checking in. On the Saturday we went to Llandudno and Colwyn Bay/Rhos-On-Sea on the Sunday. These places were approx 45-60mins away. The park itself is nice, quiet and relaxing. Our caravan was situated at rhe back by the trees, very peaceful and even saw a pheasant. We used the bar a few times, sitting outside having a drink whilst our daughter played outside. We also went in to the bar area to watch the Champions League Final and stayed for the Saturday nights entertainment which was a male singer. This is the second Lyons park we have visited and will definitely visit another.

Stayed for Valentine’s and was lovely hosts were lovely they were welcoming. Will was very helpful and so was his partner with any queries we had. The pool looked lovely and clean. The room was very spacious, quiet , it was lovely decorated when arrived for Valentine’s Day with champagne there. Location was perfect as it wasn’t far from Ruthin town centre and would definitely stay again.
