Ty Felin is one of four converted barns on a rural farm beside the Llangollen canal in Denbighshire. It suits families or groups of six wanting their own space without the formality of a hotel: three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, mean people needn't queue. The ground floor opens into a living area with a kitchenette where you can prepare meals; the main bedroom has patio doors onto an enclosed garden. Upstairs hold two further bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with singles. Essentials like heating, linen and towels are sorted.
The enclosed patio comes with garden furniture and a private hot tub for up to six. Parking fits three cars. WiFi and a welcome pack are provided; a highchair is available if needed. The cottage is non-smoking. From here, Llangollen's shops and restaurants are close by, and the canal itself draws walkers and those wanting to try a narrowboat trip. The wider area offers white water rafting, mountain biking, canoeing, golf and birdwatching; the historic steam railway runs nearby. It's a working farm setting, so there's a genuine rural character to the place rather than a manicured holiday park feel.

Farm cottages next to a working farm. Beautiful countryside around, cottages with hot tubs finished to a high standard, with everything you could want. Hosts live in the farmhouse and are extremely helpful. Cottages have Wi-Fi and tvs, you are half an hour by car from Chester and less to Wrexham. Also a half hour walk to Pontyscyllte aqueduct, along the Shropshire Union canal. Wonderful accommodation.

Fab property and perfect for a family weekend. 6 x bedrooms all en suite, huge family room/kitchen and a hot tub. Pleasant walk into Llangollen along the canal towpath. Perfect in all weather's! Thank you Ruth for your welcome. We will be back!

Absolutely brilliant! Gorgeous surroundings - friendly owners - lovely house. Spacious. Lovely bedrooms. Comfy beds. Robes/towels are lovely. All my friends LOVED our stay. Highly Highly recommended

An impressive property with the Wow factor! Light, spacious, warm and clean with ample parking. Each bedroom has en suite facilities with ample towels and bathrobe provided. Hot tub with coloured lighting was an enormous hit! Owners extremely friendly and helpful. A short drive from Llangollen. Dark skies at night provided opportunity for star-gazers. An ideal house for our family break-thank you.
