Ty Godro is one of four stone buildings converted from farm structures on the Vale of Llangollen, where the canal runs close by and sheep and cattle still graze the land. The location puts you within reach of serious walking country, mountain biking trails, and the kind of outdoor pursuits—canoeing, white water rafting—that draw people to North Wales. Llangollen itself, a few minutes away, has shops, pubs and restaurants alongside attractions like horse-drawn canal boats and historic houses worth visiting.
The cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Two bedrooms have kingsize beds, two have pairs of singles; each room has its own shower room with heated towel rail. Downstairs, the open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a dishwasher, washing machine and electric cooker for self-catering, plus a Smart TV with Freeview. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The private garden includes a patio and lawn, with a hot tub for six set aside just for your use.
Access is step-free to the ground floor where two of the bedrooms are located. The property is non-smoking. There is parking for three cars on site.

Farm cottages next to a working farm. Beautiful countryside around, cottages with hot tubs finished to a high standard, with everything you could want. Hosts live in the farmhouse and are extremely helpful. Cottages have Wi-Fi and tvs, you are half an hour by car from Chester and less to Wrexham. Also a half hour walk to Pontyscyllte aqueduct, along the Shropshire Union canal. Wonderful accommodation.

Fab property and perfect for a family weekend. 6 x bedrooms all en suite, huge family room/kitchen and a hot tub. Pleasant walk into Llangollen along the canal towpath. Perfect in all weather's! Thank you Ruth for your welcome. We will be back!

Absolutely brilliant! Gorgeous surroundings - friendly owners - lovely house. Spacious. Lovely bedrooms. Comfy beds. Robes/towels are lovely. All my friends LOVED our stay. Highly Highly recommended

An impressive property with the Wow factor! Light, spacious, warm and clean with ample parking. Each bedroom has en suite facilities with ample towels and bathrobe provided. Hot tub with coloured lighting was an enormous hit! Owners extremely friendly and helpful. A short drive from Llangollen. Dark skies at night provided opportunity for star-gazers. An ideal house for our family break-thank you.
