I loved my stay and the restaurant here! I stayed for two nights on a work trip a few weeks ago and was so impressed by the staff and everything. Everyone was kind and always checked in on me after I got my food. The service was good and fast. I had two dinners and two breakfasts here and the food is delicious. I miss it and want to come back! Thank you so much to Jason for checking me in and being so helpful, and the ladies who served me food. You’re all lovely :) The rooms were super comfortable and literally spotless as it’s brand new. I can’t wait to be back!

This has been taken over by the bespoke inln group. They are the ones that owned the boot at Repton and Melbourne and other places around. We visited on Wednesday and was very impressed. Very attentive staff, beautiful surroundings and ambience, and the food, most importantly, superb. Priced around the average gastro pub prices so it’s not a budget place, But we both said that it was well worth the money. Please see pictures. Fantastic gluten free Catering. All the batter on the fish and chips and even the onion rings, GF! Lots of options! Well worth a trip and has an outdoor area that’s going to be fantastic in the summer. Keep this one quiet! Shout out to the manager (didn’t get his name). He was a warm friendly bloke, with an accent from Eastern Europe I think. Couldn’t do enough for us!

If you are looking for the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion, look no further! I had my birthday dinner here, and everything was absolutely flawless. I want to give a massive thank you to the manager, Jacob. His professionalism and warmth made our evening incredibly magical. The entire team went above and beyond to make me feel celebrated. The icing on the cake (literally!) was the lovely surprise: a complimentary glass of champagne and a birthday cake with wishes. Fantastic food, great vibes, and top-tier service. If you looking for a fantastic Sunday carvery at a sensible price point, then head for the Bubble at Stenson. Having recently changed to new ownership, the pub has been completely renovated. There is the same canal side charm as the Dragon at Willington, but also something new. It works very well! We shall be back again.
