I stayed here for two nights while attending an agility show nearby. It's a budget hotel, and while the rooms are simple, it had everything I needed for my stay. The standout for me was the staff. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and welcoming, especially the night team. I checked in quite late on Thursday evening with my Border Collie, and they made us both feel very welcome after a long drive. I was leaving the hotel between 5:30am and 6:00am each morning and didn't get back until late afternoon on Friday, so I didn't spend a huge amount of time there. However, it was clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed after long days at the agility show. If you're looking for an affordable, dog-friendly place to stay in the area, I'd happily recommend it.

Everything you would hope to expect for a budget night away. Plenty of parking that was access/exit via barriers, EV charging, a bar with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, and clean rooms. I was awoken in the early hours due to heavy goods vehicle noise from the car park, otherwise had a great night's sleep. There's a good pub a mile away or options to eat and drink in the services next door. Very convenient location for onward travel.

Galina did an excellent job cleaning my room! Everything was spotless and well organized. Overall, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant: the room was comfortable, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was great. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return again.

Been staying here on and off for last few months, the hotel is great, reception staff are so friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile. Rooms are basic (not complaining) but clean and warm. Cleaning staff always leave the room in good order. Would have no issues staying again
