Brosterfield Cottage opens into a ground-floor living area that doubles as kitchen and dining space, centred around a woodburner. The single bedroom sits upstairs with views across fields; the bathroom has both bath and shower. One car can park on site, and a small garden with seating looks out over the surrounding countryside. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included.

The cottage sleeps two and occupies its own private corner near Bakewell, close enough to walk to a pub serving local ales within half a mile. The Derbyshire Dales location puts you within reach of Chatsworth House and its gardens, Haddon Hall, and the various caves and mines the Peak District is known for. Bakewell itself lies a short drive away. One dog is welcome; smoking is not permitted inside.

We stayed here for just 1 night which we instantly wished we had booked a few night, we stayed in the broader field suite, an absolutely stunning room with a small bathroom and kitchen, penny and co are amazing there was literally everything in there that you could need, we brought our dog along and there was even a bag with bowls, towel and treats for the dog (I had brought all an amazing place that we will have recommended to everyone and will be coming back to visit again! Thank you my own anyway) but what a lovely gesture incase you’ve forgotten something. Beautiful farm, beautiful place, overal

Beautiful location and charming suite! Very clean and sufficient for our purposes. Also near the lovely town of Foolow with the highly recommended Bulls Head Inn (excellent food and service). Our family had a great stay. If you’re into outdoor activities (we went for the rock climbing opportunities nearby) definitely recommend this location.

A great property for a large group. The kitchen, dining and living space is great for a social get together and the cinema room ideal for a bit of downtime. All rooms were beautifully decorated and a lot of thought and time has obviously been put into the farmhouse property. Lovely location, with lots of lovely pubs nearby. Communication with the owners was also ideal. Highly recommended!
