Curiosity Cottage comes ready for a working holiday or family break. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer all there. Upstairs are three bedrooms: two doubles and one with bunks. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, and if you're bringing a young child, a travel cot and highchair are available. One pet stays free.
The ground floor opens out as one space where you can watch TV, cook and eat in the same area. A private enclosed garden and patio give you outdoor room for morning coffee or sitting out in the evening. There is parking on the road, with a public car park nearby, and an electric car charging point if you need it.
Eyam is a village with genuine historical weight—it voluntarily isolated itself during the 1665 plague to prevent the disease spreading further. The Eyam Museum tells that story, and walking through the village itself shows you the cottages and hall from that period. There's a pub within a mile, and walks from the village lead into the Peak District hills, with routes up to Eyam Edge or towards Foolow.
