Hammerton Hall - Middlecroft

Litton is a quiet village deep in the Peak District, where stone cottages line a landscape of moorland and farmland. Hammerton Hall – Middlecroft sits on a working farm here, converted from a barn in 2023. The building keeps its character with exposed stone and vaulted ceilings, but comes with modern comforts: underfloor heating on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, and reliable wifi throughout.

Two double bedrooms—one with its own ensuite shower—plus a single bed means the property sleeps five. The second bedroom has a full bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, a living room with smart TV opens onto a kitchen and dining space where you can cook and eat together. Essentials like bed linen, towels and electricity are covered in the price. One car can park on site; there's an electric vehicle charging point and a bike store for exploring the surrounding hills and valleys.

The enclosed garden is yours to use, with furniture and space for children or pets to play safely. Dogs stay free. The farm sometimes allows guests to watch lambing in late March and April, and there are facilities to rinse muddy boots, bikes and paws after outdoor time. Non-smokers only.
