Hammerton Hall - The Loft

This stone barn conversion sits on a working farm in Litton, a small Peak District village within the National Park. Built in 2023, it combines period character—exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings—with modern comfort. The single-level layout means everything is on the ground floor: a living room with Freeview Smart TV, an open-plan kitchen and dining space with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and an ensuite with walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and electric heating keep the space warm, and wifi is included along with bed linen and towels.

One pet stays free, and there's an enclosed garden area where children and dogs can play safely. A private parking space comes with EV charging capability, and the bike store is useful given the immediate access to walking and cycling trails. The farm is a working concern, and for roughly four weeks from late March guests may see lambing in action, with opportunities to help feed newborn lambs. Litton itself has a small shop and a pub across the road; beyond that lie the wider walking opportunities of the Peak District. The property does not permit smoking.
