Groups, families and couples all find their space at Manor Cottage, a detached stone cottage in Wardlow with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite or access to a dedicated bath and shower room, which means mornings run smoothly when you're eight strong. The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner, a kitchen large enough for cooking together, and a utility room with washing and drying facilities. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; logs for the fire are supplied too.

The cottage sits high in the White Peak, surrounded by working farms and stone-built houses typical of the area. You can step straight out onto footpaths—Wardlow Hay Cop known locally as The Pingle connects to Cressbrook Dale—and reach the market town of Bakewell, the limestone villages of Tideswell, Ashford in the Water and Litton within minutes by car. An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue overlooks the countryside; parking for four cars is on site. One well-behaved dog stays free. The cottage is not available to smokers.

A secret getaway for our son's 30th. Glorious cottage with a sunrise worth getting up for. Well equipped with everything you could want. Being really picky I would say it would benefit from a downstairs toilet. If you are celebrating, get Ollie Parnell to cook for you. A real highlight of the week.

Stayed at Manor Cottage with some friends and absolutely loved it. The bedrooms with en-suites made it comfortable for everyone. Large fully equipped kitchen. With big dining table , we ate in every night and had some super evenings. We walked across some beautiful countryside and cycling on the Monsal Trail and Tissington Trail. The views from the kitchen window were spectacular. Everyone really enjoyed our stay and made it so easy with 8 couples.

Just spent a lovely time at the cottage. All rooms have private bath rooms, some en suite. Kitchen is large and able to seat large number of people around the table. Living room is cosy although the chairs less so, particularly for people who have short legs. I did find the bed we had to be in need of a new mattress as the onr i was on felt very soft and tired. The garden was fantastic, great views and relaxed seating area.
