Perriwinkle Cottage

Great Longstone sits at the heart of the Peak District, where the Monsal Trail—an eight-mile traffic-free route for walkers and cyclists—passes straight through the village. Perriwinkle Cottage is a terraced stone building in this setting, sleeping two guests in one bedroom with a private garden and parking.

The cottage opens onto a ground floor with a wood burner, living area with Freeview TV, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Upstairs is a king bedroom and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial logs for the burner. The small enclosed front garden offers a quiet spot, and the cottage is entirely yours—no shared spaces.

Beyond the Monsal Trail itself, the village has two pubs, a shop, and a green with a market cross. Nearby Ashford-in-the-Water and the market town of Bakewell are accessible for days out, as is Chatsworth House. Smoking is not permitted, and one pet is welcome.
