An idyllic setting just a mile or thereabouts from Tissington and the Trail. Friendly owners, very helpful. Fabulous views and easy access to Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton and the glorious countryside. Tea room on site but currently closed. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed here for two nights. The whole experience was beyond expectation. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great hosts, fantastic breakfast and very clean! Comfortable bed, best sleep I have had in years to be honest.

Spent one night at Bassetwood CL just to come and try out some new bikes. What a beautiful place to stay and lovely people who run it. It’s beautifully kept and so peaceful. Tissington Trail is very close by so fab stay over if you wish to go. Happily return
