What visitors say

We had the most wonderful stay at Beara Lodge. Sarah and Dean were great hosts and our children loved the chicks and the goats Chase and Clifford. The Safari tent had everything we needed and the children’s toys and books made such a difference on a slightly rainy morning. We will certainly be back!

Two adults and two small children - we had a fabulous time at Beara Lodge. The location was so peaceful and picturesque. The tent was fabulous, set up for outside living with BBQ and seating. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunset. The beds were comfy and it was great to have the camping experience but be able to use the toilet and shower. Sarah and Dean were fabulous hosts. We'll definitely plan a return trip.

We stayed with my two little ones and it was brilliant. They thought of everything and it was clear there was attention to detail in how the lodge had been presented. Really helpful being able to close the gate on the balcony so my kids could roam, they also left a few kids books, toys and high chairs. Would suit family's or just an adult trip to get away. Beds comfortable and everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful start point for exploring Devon and Dartmoor. Tents are comfortable and neat, and the space around them is lovely! Perfect for groups esp with the possibility to have a barbecue and to see some stars.
