About Half Moon Inn
Beaworthy is a small Devon village well placed for reaching Dartmoor, and the Half Moon Inn sits right on its square as a straightforward, welcoming base for exploring the area. It's a long-standing pub-hotel rather than a polished retreat, with the relaxed feel of a proper local inn.
There are 11 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and guests can expect a comfortable night's stay backed up by free WiFi and drinks available in the room. Downstairs there's a bar and restaurant on site, plus breakfast to set you up for the day, and staff are on hand around the clock at 24 hour reception. Free on-site parking makes arriving by car easy, and pets are welcome too.
Beyond the inn itself, the surrounding area offers fishing nearby for those who want to spend a few hours by the water, along with further pubs and restaurants within easy reach for evenings out. It's a fitting spot for anyone using Beaworthy as a starting point for Dartmoor walks or simply wanting a quiet corner of rural Devon to unwind in.
