About The Orchard at Fairlinch
Tucked into a quiet orchard a mile and a half from Braunton, this tiny site offers electric grass pitches set among the trees – peaceful, unpretentious and perfectly placed for north Devon's surf coast. Saunton Sands is visible from some pitches and just five minutes by car (or a 40-minute walk), while Croyde and Woolacombe lie roughly 10 minutes away. Beyond the beaches, you're well situated for kayaking, coasteering, cycling the Tarka Trail or boat trips to Lundy from Ilfracombe.
Facilities are straightforward – toilets, showers, washing-up area and a tea-and-coffee station for your morning brew – but the spacious pitches allow room for awnings, gazebos and barbecues. There's no play equipment or evening entertainment, so expect a genuinely quiet stay. Dogs are welcome year-round, and Braunton (a half-hour walk) has supermarkets, cafés and plenty of eateries. The site can feel a little basic for some, but if you're after simplicity, space and easy access to the waves, it's a sweet spot.

There is a tent camping with a lot of space letting you keep your tent, car and whatever you unfold and set enough far from others. You can even make nice group camp or whatever you wish still keep you away from other groups. Really plenty of space. Quite good and clean showers and toilets. Also not very far from beaches suitable for all kinds of surfing.

Great family camping, very quiet, close to beach 5 mins drive, so much space not many neighbours. Toilets close by and showers, water etc, campfires, allowed,great dog field.

The views are amazing but on a steep field/ hill which had not been well maintained too many huge nettles everywhere also the info claimed you could park by your pitch, not so had to park at the bottom of the hill and carry everything to the top, the toilets and showers were also three quarters way down the hill which was pretty treacherous and difficult to manoeuvre to say the least unless you walked all the way round the field. There was only one table with attached benches to service all the tents, very old and pretty unsafe to sit on. I suggest you do something about the routes down. And the bottom outside zip was broken on our tent. The place seemed cobbled together in a hurry

Basic campsite with toilets & hot showers. You can pitch where you like, have camp fires & dog friendly. Relaxed atmosphere - we love it here & return every year as Saunton Sands is only 1mile away for beautiful beach, surf & rock pools.
