Families and small groups will find Mont Blanc House works well for a coastal break. The three bedrooms spread across two floors give everyone their own space: a kingsize with en-suite on the top floor, a double and twin on the first floor, plus a family bathroom with bath and separate shower. Downstairs, the open-plan living and kitchen area has French doors onto a private garden with patio and seating. One car can park on site, and one well-behaved pet stays free.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, washer-dryer, full-sized fridge and separate freezer. Electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included. Gas central heating keeps the place warm in cooler months. No smoking inside, though there's an enclosed rear garden to use.
Braunton itself is a working village with independent shops, cafés and restaurants, including noted fish and chip places. The real draw is proximity to several major beaches—Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe are all within a short drive and known for consistent waves and varied activities from rock pooling to walking. The Museum of British Surfing is also based here.
