We are just on our way back from a lovely weekend. Campsite was well tended and beautifully quiet. Communication was great - I called to say we were going to be there after reception closed, and Phil was super reassuring and helpful. When we arrived he was on hand to greet us and super personable. He was also on hand if we needed to find out where to go for fuel / basic supplies. Some are available in the shop, however they only stock things that are regularly required as they've had things go to waste in the past. We used the "what three words" directions to get there which were spot on. A lovely spot and should we want to camp nr Dorchester again, we will most certainly be back

Had a really lovely stay at Lyons Gate Holiday Park. We stayed here camping and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The facilities were clean and very handy. Showers were only 50p and 20p for washing up. Even though there’s a small charge, the water stayed nice and warm for a good amount of time so wasn’t a problem for us at all. The campsite was so peaceful and surrounded by woods and wildlife. Phil and Mandy were so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Roy was also really helpful and gave us some great fishing advice and information about the lakes, which made our stay even better. Thank you all for a great weekend. The fishing was fantastic, we caught loads of nice fish and had a brilliant time. Overall, it’s a friendly, well-run holiday park with good facilities and excellent fishing. We would definitely recommend staying here and we are already planning our return!

We visited with friends over the bank holiday camping in our tents, we had such a great stay. The campsite was very clean and beautifully maintained, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The fishing lakes were beautiful our hubbies first time fishing and they were so pleased . Phil and Mandy truly went above and beyond. They were so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our visit. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Nice little gem of a place. Tranquil site with amazing staff. Phil & Mandy were super helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Some nice walks around the site,especially through the woodland park. A bigger walk to the nearby pub is recommended. Just check for the opening times. I’m not a fisherman but the lakes were ideal for just chilling out. Very dog friendly, including free biscuits in reception. A great place, we’ll definitely be back.
