Cruxton Lodge

Cruxton Lodge is a contemporary cottage built with clean lines and attention to detail throughout. The entire property sits on one level, arranged around a generous open-plan space that combines living, dining and kitchen into a sociable hub. A separate bedroom contains a double bed, with a walk-in shower room alongside. French doors from the kitchen lead onto a decked terrace with garden furniture, and beyond that a private lawn completes the outdoor space. There is parking for one car on site.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The lodge sits in a rural hamlet yet sits under a mile from a village with a shop, pub and restaurant. Miles of countryside surround the property, with the Jurassic Coast within reach and Dorchester a reasonable drive away. Smoking is not permitted.

The setting suits couples or small families wanting quiet seclusion without complete isolation. The lodge sleeps three people overall.
