Downwood – Art Studio is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom property sleeping two, set in rural Dorset two miles from Blandford Forum. The entire ground-floor space is yours alone: an open-plan living area with a smart TV, a dining space, a functional kitchen with hob and combi microwave, and a bedroom with a double bed. A shower room completes the layout. Everything you need for self-catering is included – bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating – and private parking for one car is on site.
The real draw is outside. A private hot tub for two sits in a large lawned garden, ideal for evening relaxation. A barbecue is also there if you want to cook alfresco. The location works well for exploring Dorset: the Jurassic Coast is within reach, as are Kingston Lacy House, Hardy's Cottage and the New Forest. Blandford Forum itself has the Royal Signals Museum, a fashion museum and a brewery offering tours, plus ordinary shops and restaurants. Shops are two and a half miles away, a pub two miles, and restaurants closer still. The beach is eighteen miles off. One dog stays free. Smoking is not permitted.

Downwood is lovely. Me and my bf stayed for 2 nights. He loved the jacuzzi. We both enjoyed the bbq and the space inside was perfect - clean, modern, comfortable. Tv was working great too - Netflix and all the usual good apps like bbc and itv. Gas cooker was great! We went to Bournemouth beach one day, was only 45 mins drive. Beautiful beach. This location is so perfect too, because it’s countryside but there plenty shops and takeaways around. Highly recommend

Wow what can I say apart from exceptional. Me and my partner booked a last minute weekend away. Grace was so welcoming in her communication and it was very apparent how important it was for her to make sure from start to finish we had a lovely time/experience. The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The views and grounds are stunning and the hot tub was amazing. We arrived feeling very tense from busy lives and honestly we left feeling like we had been to a retreat. We’ve shown friends our photos and they were also wowed. Thank you and we will Definately be back 💫🙏🏼

Me and my partner had a really lovely time at the Glass house. It was our first anniversary and the Glass house complimented it beautifully. The room is very spacious and the decor/furniture was beautiful. The hot tub was a massive bonus and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and come back. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at the stillness cottage, it was clean, warm and well presented. It felt like a home away from home. We loved an evening dip in the hot tub. The bed was very comfortable, it was hard to get my young daughter out of it! The fact we could take our little dog along with us was the cherry on the top! Thank you and we look forward to returning!
