You step into Eden Cottage's living room, which opens onto a dining space and kitchen—the ground floor is arranged to flow between these three areas, with a utility room tucked away for laundry. Upstairs, two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath. One bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other a single. The cottage is heated throughout and comes with wi-fi, bed linen and towels provided.
The kitchen has an electric cooker and standard appliances for self-catering. There is an enclosed garden with a patio and furniture, and on-road parking outside. The village of Cerne Abbas sits between Dorchester and Sherborne, known for the Cerne Giant chalk figure on the hillside above. Three pubs and shops are within 150 yards. A fish and chip van calls on Thursday early evenings. No smoking is permitted. Note that there are steps down into both the kitchen and the garden. The Jurassic Coast, Weymouth, Lyme Regis and the ruins of Cerne Abbey are within reach for day trips.
