Bridport sits on Dorset's dramatic coastline, where the South West Coast Path winds past fossil-bearing cliffs and the shingle beaches of Eype and West Bay lie within easy reach. Golden Acre – Ammonite 15 occupies a quiet corner of this setting, a single-storey property perfect for couples or solo travellers who want a base for coastal exploration or simply a break from busier seaside towns.
The bungalow is all on one level: a double bedroom, shower room, and an open-plan living space where kitchen and dining area flow together. You'll find what you need to cook properly – oven, hob, microwave – rather than make do with basics. The sitting area has Freesat television for quieter evenings. An enclosed garden at the back provides a sheltered spot to sit, and there's parking for one car on site. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included.
The pebble beach at Eype is a short walk away, backed by the high cliffs that define this stretch of coast. Bridport itself, five minutes' walk up the hill, has independent shops, cafés and restaurants clustered around the market square. Dogs are welcome and stay free – the garden and nearby open ground make it straightforward to settle in with a pet. The property is non-smoking.

Eype is one of the quieter kittle coves on the coast. Golden Acre is very laid back and relaxing. I really liked it

We had the best stay at GA! The lodge was perfect - clean, quiet, walkable to the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks all. ❤️

Booked this last minute getaway so we only stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed for longer. Lovely cosy chalet style accommodation. We stayed in a one bedroom and requested a zed bed for our toddler which was perfect. The beds were comfy. Very well equipped and a nice complimentary of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch and they even had treats for the dog. The little garden was ideal for the dog and I'm sure would be a nice place to relax in the warmer months. Location beautiful and just a short walk down to Eype beach. Great communication thoughtout with Tom. My partner also left his headphones in the room and didn't realise until we were back home. Tom thankfully found them and sent them back to us. So very honest and genuine, very grateful for that thankyou! Would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time 😃
